Links Page Editor

Update your links page
without touching code.

A simple visual tool for editing buttons, icons, and procedures on sarahmessmd.com/links/ — with a live preview as you type.

How it works
01

Make your edits

Use the Editor tab to update button labels, links, icons, and page content. The preview updates instantly on the right.

02

Copy the HTML

When you're happy with the preview, click the gold "Copy HTML" button at the bottom of the editor panel.

03

Paste into WordPress

Go to the Links page in WordPress, paste into the Raw HTML field, and save. Changes go live immediately.

Full workflow
Making a change, start to finish

Always start by grabbing the current live code from WordPress and loading it into the editor. This ensures you're editing the latest version — not the editor's default content.

Go to WordPress
Links page → Raw HTML field
Copy the code
Select all → copy
Load into editor
Import from WordPress → paste → Load
Make your edits
Preview updates live
Copy HTML & paste back
Gold button → back to WordPress
Always start with Import
Pull the latest version before editing

The editor opens with default content each time you visit. Before making any changes, you need to pull the current live code out of WordPress and load it in — otherwise your edits will overwrite the live page with the default content.

The Raw HTML field is inside the Just Content layout block on the Links page edit screen in WordPress.

How to import
1
In WordPress, go to the Links page and click Edit
2
Scroll down to the Just Content layout block and find the Raw HTML field
3
Click inside the Raw HTML field → Select All (Ctrl+A / Cmd+A)Copy (Ctrl+C / Cmd+C)
4
Come back here and click Import from WordPress in the Editor tab
5
Paste into the textarea (Ctrl+V / Cmd+V) → click Load
Where to paste
The Raw HTML field is inside the Links page ACF layout — here's exactly where.

What you can edit
Every visible element on the links page can be updated from the Editor tab — no code required.
1

Edit header info

The fields at the top of the editor control your name, credentials line, tagline, and the small badge pills (like "20+ Years").

For badges, type them separated by commas — e.g. 20+ Years, AAAASF Certified

Tip: Changes update the preview instantly — no need to save first.

Edit link buttons

Each button row has three fields: the label (bold text), the subtext (smaller description), and the URL it links to.

Check Gold/primary style to make a button the highlighted gold one — typically "Book a Consultation."

Tip: Only one button should have the gold style at a time.
